NIGHT CLUBS
LIFE IN LONDON What happens when a girl of the. London slums is suddenly transported to beautiful Mayfair and a life of ease? No longer need she wonder where the next meal is coming from; whether there’ll bo a bed to sleep in; or if she’ll have any clothes to wear on the morrow*. Instead, she finds herself in a land where fashionable restaurants and night clubs are “all the rage”; a soft downy bed is hers; servants galore; and as for clothes, only Parisien modists will do. Is she happy? Does she find contentment or love? “London” when it arrives will show it all. Dorothy Gish enacts the Limehouse slavey as only Dorothy Gish can. Herbert Wilcox, the man who made “Nell Gwyn,” directed. British National Pictures, Ltd., are the producers. Paramount is releasing “London” on this side of the Pacific
