A GOOD SEASON

ST. HELIERS. BOWLERS CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting: of the St. Heliers Bowling Club took place last evening, Mr. S. White presiding over a large attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet showed the club as having had a very successful season, and the fianances to be in a very sound position. Special mention was made of the excellent condition of the green during the season. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted in the following being appointed: Patron, Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P:; president, Mr. E. Knight; vice-presideiits, Messrs. W. J. Cahill and A. Twiname; hon. secretary, Mr. W. J. Cahill; hon. treasurer, Mr. R. Hart; general committee, Messrs. H. Koefoed, T. Price, W. Watson, and J. Crawshaw; match committee, Messrs. P. Morris, H. Wright, H. J. Smith; green superintendent, Mr. L. J. Keys; umpires, Messrs. T. Porter and G. Campbell: coach, Mr. H. Koefoed; auditor, Mr. J. W. Carr; delegates to Auckland Centre, the president and secretary; social committee, Messrs. H. Koefoel, A. Twiname, W. McLaren, A. F. Holdsworth, and L. J. Keys; reporter, Mr. A. Twiname. A tender was accepted for additions to the present building. It was decided to strongly support the Daylight Saving Bill.
