GOLFERS SEEK PRACTICE Ponsonby golfers are evidently anxious to raise their golf to the high standard the sportsmen of this suburb have reached in other pastimes. Last night a suggestion that a practice putting green be prepared at Point Erin Park was received by the Auckland City Council from Mr. R. J. Graham, who stated that 190 others were interested, and was referred to the Parks Committee.
