ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION NEARLY TWO MILLION SPENT By Cable.—Press Assopz'ation.—Copyright NEW YORK, Wednesday. The Rockefeller Foundation disbursed a sum of £1,948,200 in 1926 toward the promotion of public health throughout the world. The principal work done was to the growth of 14 medical colleges in 10 different countries, a hookworm campaign in many parts of the world, a yellow fever campaign in South America, and anti-tuberculosis undertakings in France. The Foundation had invaluable opportunities of aiding British undertakings, all the way from London and Edinburgh to Hongkong and Sydney. —A. and N.Z.
