NATIVE LAND BOARD

Mr. R. F. Harris, of the firm of Harris, Marsack and Hall, solicitors, of Taumarunui, has made application personally to the Judge of the Native Land Court at Te Kuiti to the effect that sittings of the WaikatoManiapoto District Land Board, and Native Land Court, should be held at Taumarunui at intervals. The application received favour with his Honour, and it is probable that a sitting of the board and court will take place in Taumarunui during the month of October. The innovation will be of grea.t convenience and saving of expense and time to the members of the legal profession and others in the district having business with the tribunals mentioned.
