MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB The handicap match-play tournament to be played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club will commence at the Titirangi links on Saturday. Entries close to-day. The club will also hold a medal handicap at the Maungakiekie links on Saturday, for which entries close to-day. TAURANGA MATCH The bogey match played by ladies of the Tauranga Golf Club resulted in a tie between Miss Humphreys and Miss Mountfort. OTAHUHU CLUB The following players will represent the Otahuhu Golf Club in an inter-club teams’ match against the Glendowie Club, to be played on the Otahuhu links on Saturday: B. H. Menzies, L. J. Croxson, H. J. Levy, J. B. Simpson, R. G. Mofflt, A. P. Eustace, J. A. McPherson, N. Clark, J. S. Whyte, O. R. Montgomery, C. R. Reader. TE AWAMUTU REPRESENTATIVES The Ladies’ Golf Club team to represent Te Awamutu in the King Country ladies’ championships on Friday at Te Awamutu is Mrs. Teasdale, Mrs. Blundell, Misses Woolly, Wallace, Burke, Focke. Teams will compete from all the King Country clubs. The men’s champioships will be played on Saturday. The links are reported to be in excellent order. AUCKLAND LADIES’ CLUB Members of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club took part in a bogey match yesterday for prizes presented by the president, Mrs. T. C. Savage. Following were the best cards: —Seniors: Miss H. Cutfield, 1 down; Miss Lever, 2 down; Miss E. Culling. 3 down; Mrs. Ferguson, 3 down. Juniors: Mrs. Rainger, 1 down; Mrs. E. B. Brown, 1 down; Mrs. Endean, 4 down; Mrs. Cox, 4 down. A match for C grade players will be played at Middlemore on Friday, post entries being received at the clubhouse until noon. The Isabelle Bloomfield Memorial competitions will be played next Tuesday, entries closing on Friday.
