WAIUKU B. AND C. CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Waiuku Bowling and Croquet Club was held in the Parish Hall on Thurs. day, June 16, the president, Mr. G. V. Williams, presiding over an attendance of 21 members. The balancesheet and report showed that that there was a slight decrease in the financial position and that the membership of the bowling club had totalled six less than last year, the total membership now being 32. The membership of the croquet players stood at 23, which represents an increase of one. During the year the club had built a tool shed, etc., at a cost of £3O Is Sd. which more than covered the slight drop in the cash standing to the credit of the club. Two new members were elected and several other names were mentioned as likely to be players for the coming season. The meeting recommended to the executive committee the advisability of appointing a coach for new players. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. J. H. N 1 K. Wright: vice-presidents, Messrs. A. P. Jack and J. O. Crouch: secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. M. Barriball; committee, Messrs. D. Neil, C. J. Elmslie, A. Naysmith, «r. J. A. James and E. S.
