ATHENIC TO LOAD. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Athenic, now in Australia, is due at Wellington about Julv 6 to commence loading in New Zealand for England. The vessel will also load at other Southern ports and then come to Auckland to fill up with cargo. She is due at this port on July 21. and two days later, with passengers and mail, she is to be despatched for Southampton and London.
COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Antonio arrived at New Plymouth this morning from ‘Wellington and leaves on Friday for Australia to complete her discharge of Texas cargo. The Huntingdon reached Dunedin yesterday afternoon from Lyttelton and sails on Saturday for Bluff to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo and to continue her loading for Home. The Haggersgate sails from here on Friday for New Plymouth to put out the balance of her phosphates. She then proceeds to Newcastle for bunkers. The West Nivaria, at present at Wellington discharging Pacific Coast cargo, leaves to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth to complete. The Karori now leaves Auckland noon to-morrow for Portland where she will load cement for New Plymouth and Westport. The Waipiata has been delayed by bad weather and now sails from here at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Kaitangata sailed from Westport at 1.30 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and Auckland. She is to leave the Taranaki port at 9 p.m. to-day and is due here on Friday. After discharge at Auckland, the Kaitangata will undergo her annual overhaul and survey at this port. The Kaimanawa is expected to leave Westport at 4 p.m. to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland and is due here about Sunday. The Katoa, which left Dunedin at 10 p.m. last Monday for Auckland via Oamaru, Timaru and Wellington, will not call at Lyttelton on her way north, and is expected to arrive here about Monday next. The Wingatui loads at Wellington to-day, and completes at Lyttelton for Auckland. From Lyttelton the Wingatui will proceed direct to this port and is due here early next week. The Kurow is to load at Bluff tomorrow, thence Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland, and should arrive at this port toward the end of next week. The Hikurangi arrived early this morrfing with another cargo of coal from Onerahi. The Richardson steamer Awahou did not complete loading yesterday owing to rain. Her departure for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne was postponed till six o’clock’ this evening. The Tiroa sailed this morning for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Isabella de Fraine sails early this afternoon for Hokianga. The Portland is scheduled to sail on Saturday for Whakatane. The Ngapuhi, sailing at 7 o’clock this evening for Tauranga, is expected back again at 7 a.m. on Friday. The Hauiti, leaving for Kopu and Turua at 4 p.m. to-day, arrives back again at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Omana, arriving from Waiheke at 6.15 p.m. to-day, sails for Mullet Point and Matakana at 6.30 a.m. to-morrow. The Kawau, leaving for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha at 7 o’clock to-morrow morning, arrives back again early the next morning.. The Taniwha, arriving from Paeroa at 8.30 p.m. to-day, sails on the return trip at 4.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Apanui, leaving for the Great Barrier at 8 a.m. to-morrow, is due back again at 7 o’clock the same evening. The Claymore arrives at 8.30 a.m. tomorrow from Whangarei. She is scheduled to sail on the return trip at 7 p.m. the same day.
