COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The tug Akaroa is to sail from Auckland to-day for Whangaroa to pick up a raft of logs for this port. The master of the Isabella de Frame, which arrived this morning from Hokianga, reports heavy seas north of Cape Brett, consequently the scow Waikonini will not leave for Whangaruru until the weather moderates. The City of Khartoum arrived at Timaru this morning from Lyttelton and leaves to-morrow for Dunedin and Bluff. The Corinthic leaves Lyttelton on Friday for Wellington, where she will complete her loading for Home. The Port Hardy arrived at Bluff this morning from Picton and sails on Thursday for Port Chalmers to continue her loading. The Mamari leaves Lyttelton to-day for Wellington to complete her discharge of London cargo. The Gunbar sailed last evening for Gisborne and Napier via the bays, and should return to Auckland about June 30. The Kawau, sailing to-day for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai, is due back here at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The Motu sailed this morning for Whakatane and returns to Auckland about Saturday. The Otimai left Auckland this morning for Kutarere and Opotiki and should arrive back here during the week-end. The Taniwha sails at 3 p.m. to-day for Paeroa and is due back at Auckland tomorrow night. - The Claymore, sailing at 10.30 p.m. today for Whangarei, returns to Auckland on Thursday morning. The Hauiti, due here to-night from Coromandel, sails to-morrow at 4 p.m. for Kopu and Turua. The Omana, arriving here to-night from Warkworth via bays, leaves to-morrow at 10 a.m. for Waiheke. The Waipu is due at Auckland to-mor-row morning from Kerepeehi and sails at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday on the return trip. The Ngapuhi, arriving here to-morrow morning from Tauranga, leaves at 7 p.m. the same day on her return trip. The Apanui, due at Auckland early tomorrow morning from Tairua and Mercury Bay, sails at midnight the same day for Great Barrier. The Rangitoto leaves Auckland at 7.30 a.m. to-morrow for Thames and returns here on Thursday afternoon. The Waimea, sailing at 4 p.m. to-day for Napier direct and Gisborne, returns to Auckland on Sunday.
The Waipiata is up to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Karori shifted this morning to Chelsea. She is to sail at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Portland, where she will load for New Plymouth and Westport. The Wingatui loads at Wellington tomorrow and completes at Lyttelton for Auckland. She is due here early next week. The Katoa was expected to leave Dunedin last night for Oamaru, Timaru, Wellington and Auckland. She may also call at Lyttelton on her way North. The Kurow is to load at Bluff on Thursday, thence Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. She is clue here about June 30. The Tiroa, sailing to-day for Gisborne, returns to Auckland about Sunday. The Awahou is to sail at 6 p.m. to-day for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne, and is expected back at Auckland during the week-end. The Mako leaves here at 5 p.m. to-day for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa and returns to Auckland on Sunday. The Cumberland sailed from Auckland this morning for Gisborne, where she will continue her loading for i-lome. The Tekoa is to sail at noon to-mor-row for Wellington to put out further Liverpool cargo.
