BIG LAND CASE

OPENED IN HAMILTON SUM OF £4,000 INVOLVED (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. A case which is expected to last five days was commenced in the Hamilton Supreme Court to-day before Mr. Justice Herdman and a special jury. Donald Finney, of Taranaki, is suing the Matawara Land Company for £ 4,000, alleging misrepresentation in the sale of a section of land at Tokoroa as of good dairying quality when the block was “cattle-sick.”
