VICTORIAN CYCLONE A DISTRICT SWEPT By Cable.— Press Association. —Copyright MELBOURNE, Monday. 1 • WHIRLWIND struck Parbury’s.sawmills at Warburton, lifting the whole roof and beams weighing eight tons, and depositing them 50 yards away. An employee was seriously injured. An electric light and power station, which supplies the township, was badly damaged. The cyclone caused tremendous damage when it swept the Bungaree district, near Ballarat. The cyclone was from two to three hundred yards wide, and wrecked all before it. There were many narrow escapes, but only one person was injured.—A. and N.Z.
