BRITANNIA

HECTOR ST. CLAIR TO-NIGHT Colleen Moore is adding to her army of followers here by an appearance in golden curls and an entirely different type of role in "Twinkletoes,” the current attraction at the Britannia Theatre to-night. An excellent stipporting cast depicts Thomas Burke’s picturesque characters of the Limehouse. Kenneth Harlan. Gladys Brockwell, Walter Oland, Tully Marshall, Julanne Johnston, Lucian Littlefield and John Philip Kolb are featured. Besides the principals, an army of colourful Limehouse folk, of all races, types and pursits, lend further atmosphere to the narrow, crooked streets and alleys and wharves of London's famous waterfront district. The star never appeared to better advantage, nor in a more dramatic, gripping and colourful story than in Twinkletoes.” Her love for a Limehouse pugilist and for her father, her combination of innocence and sophistication, and her golden curls give us a new and doubly fascinating Colleen Moore. Also on the same programme is London’s £IOO a week comedian. Hector St. Clair, with his violin, will keep the audience in fits of laughter. The little man with a big voice and good jokes gives 30 minutes of laughter and fun
