This enormous Captain Cook pig was captured in the Waitakere Ranges by Captain Subritsky, of Parau, after it had ripped up three dogs. He was eventually tamed. His measurements are not available, but the owner says he stands over 3ft. 6in. high and 6ft. in length. He will be on exhibition at the Winter Show.
