MUSSOLINI GREETS AIRMAN LARGE CROWD GATHERS By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright ROME, Thudsday. A large crowd waited throughout the day to welcome the Marchese di Pinedo, who after making a perfect landing, was conveyed to a special wharf lined with distinguished people. Mussolini stood aside, while di Pinedo saluted his wife. After that the Duce embraced the aviator and said: “Commander, I bring you and your companions the grateful and enthusiastic and affectionate welcome of the entire nation.” —A. and N.Z.
