A General Favourite | All eyes were focussed on Terenc Dillon, who was geared up, and wit! J. McLennan in the sulky moved ver; I nicely. The son of Author Dillon’: mission was not a time-making one. but his style of locomotion and general appearance impressed the onlookers. Pleased The Touts Daytime was given solid work with out the straps and the Nelson Binge* gelding gave a good display. Da.vtinv has not been over-raced as since h< won at Ashburton twelve months ag» he has only sported silk on two oc casions, being unplaced each start. Splendid Exhibition Ingle Bingen gave a perfect exhibi tion of trotting and made man. friends by the bold manner in whfei she traversed several circuits. Ingl. Bingen put up a good performance a. the Forbury summer meeting, when she defeated a good field of trotter, easily. Tomkinson’s Team Present " - Tomkinson put in an appearance and his team was scrutinised and admired by the crowd. It was no 4 extended, but Napland was given a couple of circuits at a sound pace. In Great Fettle Rock Hinton, with the hopples on, worked at a solid clip and hit out in rare style. R. Woods has the Cambridge Cup winner in fine trim, and he made many friends by his display. He will be a hard head in the Adams Memorial .Cup. A Good Breaker Peter Boy trotted very soundly an< made few mistakes. On two occasion; he left his feet, but recovered witl commendable quickness and lost n* ground. Peter Boy has raced prom mently in the South recently. In the Boom Cardinal Logan, unhoppled, war hunted along by A. Hendricksen. ant< he did his work like a thorough tradesman. The Lcgan Pointer gelding made a host of friends by his display, and promises to be one of the favourite selections on the day. Lottie a Little Unlucky R. Kearns geared Lottie Advance up and the black mare, who is in great heart, moved nicely. The Advance mare had a good trip from Nelson, and will run prominently, although she is hampered by the <}raw in the ManFere Handicap. Frisco Beau Pleases Frisco Beau was the centre of attraction, when D. Withers, after traversing several circuits at ha’f to three-quarter pace, asked the boldactioned trotter to do his best over a few furlongs. The son of Tip Frisco did all that was asked of him in nice style. Frisco Beau won a two-mil© race at the New Brighton Royal fixture.
