£40,000 FOR GREYHOUND RACING IN ENGLAND
Coursing with an electrically controlled hare, which was tried out in Sydney a short time hack, has attained extraordinary success in England. No fewer than 330,000 people attended the races at Manchester in eleven weeks. The Greyhound Racing Association is now offering about £40,000 in prizes among the difffferent tracks. For the championship of Great Britain in August or September next a 2>rize of £I,OOO loill be given.
