LAUNCH SALVAGED
SCOUT RETURNS HOME UNDER OWN POWER (From Our Own Coi'respondent .) OPOTIKI, Thursday. Mr. Buffs launch left Kutarere yesterday at noon on a trip to the Raurimu Islands, the quest being the salvaging of the stranded ’aunch Scout. Messrs. Alan Abbot and J. King, and a party of 11 other helpers, made the journey, with the result that the stranded vessel was launched and Drought home under her own power at one o’clock this morning. Apart from J sl ight leak, the launch has not suffered any extensive damage.
