MAIN HIGHWAYS
It was stated at the Waipa County Council’s meeting at Te Awamutu on Monday that the district engineer advised that the payment of the following sums to the credit of the county fund account had been authorised in respect to main highways:—Great South Road (section 2). £122 10s 3 0d; section 4, £196 15s 7d: section 1, £lO7 8s 6d; section 3, £2OB 5s 3d; HamiltonRaglan Road, £ 9 9s 2d. The Main Highways Board authorised the following expenditure; £3OO, £ for £, for the n>ain highway from Ngaruawahia to Hamilton; £IOO, £1 10s fo~ £l, Hamilton to IVhatawhata: £IOO, Cl 10s for £l, Te Awamutu to Pirongia; £IOO, £1 10s for £l, Hamilton to Ohaupo, and £2OO. £1 10s- for £l, Ohaupo to Te Awamutu.
