BRITAIN’S EGYPTIAN FEARS QUIETED
AGREEMENT IN SIGHT CIRCUMSPECTION IN FUTURE Cy Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Monday. A message from Cairo says it is semiofficially announced that an agreement is in sight between Britain and Egypt in connection with the dispute about the control of the Egyptian army. It is said that the basis of the agreement -will be that Britain will be given an assurance that certain of her fears are unfounded. An undertaking will also be given, it is stated, that the Egyptian Parliament will in future take into account the fact that certain matters of a military and a diplomatic character must be discussed with the greatest circumspection.—A. and N.Z.
