Mr. John Duncan, of Sydney, arrived in Auckland by the Remuera yesterday. Mr. H. E. Vaile and Mr. H. B. Harper left for the South by the Limited last evening. The Hon. G. J. Anderson. Minister of Labour and Marine, left for Wellington on the Limited last evening. Mr. \V. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Control Board, is in Auckland. He is staying at the Star Hotel. Mr. A. Van Osselaer will return to Auckland from Belgium next August. He is on a business trip. Mr. J. McDonald and Mr. C. J. Nairn returned to Auckland yesterday by the Remuera from England. The Rev. A. Peters and Mrs. Peters were among the passengers who arrived from England yesterday by the Remuera. Mr. V. Stanley, of the commercial branch of the New Zealand Railways, Wellington, who has been on a visi* to Auckland, will go South this evening. The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. G. Baildon, accompanied by Mr. J. S Brigham, town clerk, and Mr. J. Stanton, city solicitor, is leaving to-morrow evening for Wellington.
