Long Service. —After 13 years’ service on the Taumaranui Hospital Board, Mr. L. S. Ford has decided to retire from public life.
After The Ball. —On the return journey from Hikurangi to Whangarei, after a dance on Friday night, a lorry containing six men and six women overturned. Mrs. E. Mann and Miss Gwen Wilson were seriously injured and others suffered from shock.
