ELOCUTIONARY RECITAL

MR. WALTER RUSSELL-WOOD A wide range of works was presented at a recital by Mr. Walter Russell - Wood, teacher of elocution, at Pukekohe, on Saturday flight. The Technical High School assembly room was crowded by an audience which gave Mr. Russell-Wood an excellent reception. Mr. W. J. Munro was chairman, and Miss Hazel Palmer presided at the piano. Mr. Russell-Wood presented works ranging from dramatic excerpts of Shakespeare to amusing trifles. Ooldsmith, Alfred Noyes, Kipling and Masefield were also included on the programme.
