VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES Another change of programme is announced for the Prince Edward Theatre to-night. Special vaudeville acts will include Madame Gladys Andrews, acclaimed as Scotland's greatest contralto, Jack da Rose, *the versatile comedian with his little partner, Sylvia Poynter, Lily Edwards in a classical dance creation, The Mighty Atom and Co., in a nautical character, song, and dance. Ned Fort, Auckland’s popular Irish comedian, will make his last appearance. An amusing character sketch, entitled “Daphne,” a story of the “Grey Street Waif” and an “Everyday Policeman” will be the chief turn. In addition to the vaudeville programme Reed Howes, the Speed King, will appear in the exciting film “Super Speed.” Moringa Church. —Willing workers and four horses removed the old Catholic Church in Wliangarei on Saturday to a site where it will be used as a hall. A new church is to be built in Bank Street.
