GRAND DEMONSTRATION PAGEANTRY AND BALLETS “New Zealand at Work,” the great demonstration which begins at the Town Hall on Wednesday, June 15, and continues for five days, will be one of the most novel and interesting exhibitions held here. A prologue, entitled “Yesterday,” will be provided by Maori maidens and warriors, under the direction of Mrs. W. Coldicutt, Mayoress of Onehunga, and Kahupaka Tautahi, chieftainess of the Te Waiohua tribe, Tamaki, The scene will be an effective one of the pa in National Park and hakas and poi dances will be given. From the “National Storehouse” will parade each afternoon and evening, beautiful New Zealand mannequins displaying the productions of Dominion mills. Mdlle Valeska’s “Ballet of Beauty” will also advertise New Zea-land-made goods. From June 13 to 18 will be “New Zealand-made Shopping Week.” and special displays be made in the shops. .
