COLLISION WITH COW

Damage to the extent of £IOO was done to a motor-car driven by Mr. Mannix, of Waihou, last evening by a cow which jumped right in front of the vehicle. It was impossible to avoid a collision and the radiator and lamps were smashed, mudguards bent and under-carriage strained. The cow was killed, but Mr. Mannix escaped with a shaking.
