WENT FOR A SKATE
T> AH EPOTO nearly fell in the hack hurdle event at Ellerslie on Wednesday. Landing over the hurdle at the six furlong post he sat on his haunches and skated for nearly a chain. Then he got up and went on again, much to the relief of Jockey Stanway. Needless to say Rahepoto did not win. The two races he had earlier at the meeting had found him out before the incident referred to occurred.
