RODE THE WINNERS
There were no less than fifteen jockeys who succeeded in piloting a winner during the Great Northern meeting. S. Henderson heads the list with the respectable total of half a dozen victories—two each day. The successful horsemen were: S. Henderson 6 W. J. Bowden 2 T. Chaplin 1 J. Mcßae 1 W. Rennie 1 R. Eager 1 J. Cammick 1 A. Tinker 1 . R. Syme 1 E. Warner 1 R. Foster 1 E. Stanway 1 R. E. Thompson 1 G. Holland 1 H. Wiggins . 1 The only event open to amateur riders was the Carbine Plate, in which Mr. A. J. Toxward piloted the winning horse.
