POPULAR NIGHT TO-MORROW The Regent Ballroom will not i»o open to the general public this evening, it having been engaged privately. Tomorrow evening the first popular night will be held, prices for admission being ladies Is 6d. gentlemen 2s fid. These popular sessions will be held on every Thursday following. On Saturday afternoon at the dansant. the first heat in the £25 Fox-Trot Competition will be decided.
The time and expense to which motion picture companies go to in order to get authentic scenes is demonstrated in the making of “Prisoners of the Storm,” the Universal-Jewel starring House Peters. The entire company’, including star, director, supporting cast and technical staff, travelled a distance of more than three thousand miles from Hollywood. Calif., to McCall, Idaho, to obtain realistic snoSv scenes. “Prisoners of the Storm” has in its cast Peggy Montgomery. Walter McGrail, Harry Todd, Clark Comstock, Fred De Silver, Lillian Nicholson and others.
