BREACH OF PROHIBITION
YOUNG WOMAN FINED CONVICTED EIGHT TIMES When she is drunk, and that is frequently, Lena* May Farrell becomes obstreperous. She is 25 and is old enough to know it is unwise to be seen under the influence of liquor in a public place. This morning she came before the Police Court to explain why she was found drunk in Grey Street and how it was she managed to procure liquor when under a prohibition order. Police records show that Farrell has had eight previous convictions against her name and this is her second breach of a prohibition order. Accused, who had nothing to say, was fined £l, or 48 hours in default, on the first charge, and £3, or in lieu seven days, on the other.
