COMPARATIVE FIGURES INCREASE IN MAY r PHE Auckland Harbour Board cash receipts for the month of May this year show an increase of £SO oyer those of last y’ear. The eight-monthly comparison at May 31 this year shows an increase of £10,721, compared with the same period for 1926. The total cash receipts for revenue for May, 1927, amounted to £29,836. Receipts for the eight months ended May 31, 1927, exceed the estimates by £20,088. For the Manukau Harbour the May receipts amounted to £702, an increase of £456 on May, 1926. This large increase is accounted for by the fact that the Railway Department made no payment in May, 1926.
