WILL GAIN WORLD TITLE
BILLY GRIME CONFIDENT FUTURE AMERICAN FIGHTS By Cable.—Press Association.—-Copyright Reed. 8.40 a.m. LOS ANGELES, Mon. Billy Grime, the Australian boxer, will make his second American appearance at the Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, on June 21, against Eddie Shea, of Cleveland, Joe Sanger, of Milwaukee, or Vic Foley, of Vancouver, according to the contract signed by his manager, Larney Lichtenstein. Grime expects to go East early in July to meet the winner of the “Honey Boy” Finnegan-“ Red” Chapman fight for the undisputed featherweight championship of the world, which title Grime now claims. Interviewed, he said: “I have already started light training for my next fight, and am rapidly becoming acclimatised.' I do not anticipate any further trouble, as I will meet only legitimate featherweights in my future fights in the United States. Please assure the boxing ‘fans’ in Australia that I am confident I will return to my native land with the world’s featherweight championship.”—A. and N.Z.
