VERY UNLUCKY
Glenidle won the Hack Hurdles the first day at Elierslie in his best style. On Saturday he was again produced, and at the very first fence he was interefered with when another horse fell, and he had his rider perched on his neck before the boy scrambled back into the saddle. Of course the horse lost a lot of ground as a result of the incident, but his troubles were not yet ended. At the fence going out of the straight he had a riderless horse funning alongside of him, on the *nner, and this hampered him considerably, for he could not fft away from him for the next three furlongs.
When it is said that Glenidle finished a good fourth, it appeared as if he was a good thing oeaten. It certainly looked that Wa . y \ Unfortunately Glenidle is pot in to-morrow, but keep him mind.
