REGENT BALLROOM
RACE GALA TO-MORROW The usual session, from 5.30, will be held in the Regent Ballroom this evening. To-morrow, there will be a dansant from 3 to 5 o’clock in the afternoon, while in the evening another special race night gala will take place to celebrate the close of the racing season. The huge success of the two previous galas should be sufficient to ensure a further merry party. On Friday next, the first Popular Night will be given and these special evenings will take place each following Thursday. On Saturday afternoon at the dansant. the fox-trot competition, for which £25 in prizes is offered, will be commenced. Judging will be by popular vote, and the final will be decided by Miss Cecil Hall, the wellknown teacher of dancing. The ballroom having been engaged privately for Thursday evening next, it will not be open to the public.
