A domestic named Evelyn Presling, aged 20 years, died this evening as the result of burns suistained when her clothing caught fire while she was engaged in doing the washing. The deceased rushed into her mistress with her clothing in flames. She was quickly wrapped in a hearthrug and the flames were suppressed, but not before the unfortunate girl had been severely burned. She was taken to the hospital in a serious condition.
