ATTACK ON MR. LANG LABOUR PREPARES TO FIGHT By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 11.30 a,m. SYDNEY, To-day. At a meeting of the Conroy Executive, Dr. Evatt, a Labour member of the Legislative Assembly, made a strong attack on Mr. Lang, whom he described as “the biggest erook” in the Labour movement. He said lie would refuse to be a candidate under his leadership, and expressed the opinion that Mr. Lang and his new Ministers had placed themselves outside the movement. He added that Mr. Lang had taken credit for legislation. He had nothing to do with Messrs. McTiernan and Flannery, who also castigated Mr. Lang. The executive carried a resolution to call for nominations from persons eligible to contest the various seats in accordance with the rules and constitution of the Australian Labour Party. It was also decided to inaugurate throughout the State a campaign for the elections. —A. and N.Z.
