HINEMOA’S RECORD

ANOTHER FAST TRIP FROM NORFOLK IN 59 HOURS The New Zealand Government steamer Hinemoa is still breaking records. She slipped into the Auckland Harbour this morning in the grey blanket of fog after returning from Norfolk Island in 59 hours. That is her best trip to date. The distance is approximately 606 miles. The Hinemoa left Auckland for Norfolk at noon last Saturday, and experienced fine weather on the whole trip. Her half-century of years is. not affecting her in the least. A quantity of cases of oranges is among the ship's cargo.
