HANDICAPPING PROBLEM FOR AUCKLAND TROTS
TRY YOUR SKILL COMPILING ADJUSTMENTS FOR CAMPBELL HANDICAP HANDICAPPING PROBLEM Followers of the light harness sport in this district —and their name is legion—while awaiting Mr. Geo. Paul's adjustments, which are due to appear on Tuesday, will be busily engaged discussing the pros and cons of the various contestants. Enthusiasts generally consider they can get somewhere within the mark with the handicaps: in fact some go so far as to think their assessment is the correct solution of the adjusting problem. Readers of THE SUN are given an opportunity of trying their hand at framing the adjustment for the chief event on the opening day—Campbell Handicap, of two miles—limit 4.33—and comparing their work with that oi the official handicapper. A list of the entrants for the thousand pound race is appended, together with the best time recorded by each performer, either for a win or a place. The former is indicated by (W.), the latte r (P.). while (T.) signifies trotter.
