All classes of field and garden produce are well supplied, and the mark-* is glutted with cauliflowers, pumpkins and onions, the market for cauliflowers falling well below half of tin prices ruling a fortnight ago. The poultry pens continue to 1m well filled, considering the time of th* year, but the average quality of offerings is not the best. Many poorly* finished birds are being sent in. AUCKLAND’S FIRST SHIPMENT REGULAR MARKET SUPPLIES • lt: * Wi , n , inter ? st many householders in Auckland district to learn that the schooner Huia arrived in port this week with a full load of “Blair Athol,’* the popular Queensland coal. Obtained two hundred miles from Rockhampton this fine household coal is sure to be in demand. It comes from a seam measuring ninety feet, estimated to carry over four hundred million tons so that there is a big and consistent field for the benefit of consumers in Australia and New Zealand. This coal has been thoroughly tested locally and proved first-class. It burns brightly and slowly to a clean white ash. Being well-mined and handled it is retailed in useful lumpy character Messrs. A. G. Frankham. Ltd., of Hellaby's Buildings, the sqje agents, are to be congratulated on their enterprise in taking steps to arrange for this and succeeding regular shipments, which will ensure the local market being well stocked with a household coal suitable for all domestic requirements. Supplies may be also ordered through all coal merchants. '
