AN OFFICER’S DEATH
ENGINEER ON SHIP Press Association. DUNEDIN, Monday. Alexander Moncrief, refrigerating engineer on the steamer Cumberland, at present at Port Chalmers, was found dead in one of the ship’s lavatories this afternoon. Tne deceased was a native of Liverpool, and was 56 years of age. He was married. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
