In the third round of the men’s singles Froitzheim (Germany) defeated Turnbull (Britain). 6 —3, 4—6. 6 J. 6—o, and Lacoste (France) defeated Kleinschroth (Germany), 6 —2, 6 —l 6—3.—A. and X.Z.- Sun.
