ENGLISH MARATHON By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Saturday. The Polytechnic Harriers’ Marathon from Windsor to London, a distance of 26 miles 358 yards, resulted as follows: S. Ferris, Air Force. 1; time 2h 40m 32 l-ss); S. Xatale (the Italian champion), 2: J. Marien (the Belgian and French champion), 3. Ferris led at 20 miles, when his time was lh 5Sm 17s.
