KNOCK-OUT TOURNAMENT The Auckland Basketball Association held the second knock-out tournament of the season at the Normal School grounds on Saturday afternoon. Many of the games were very keenly contested, Edendale being the most prominent. Results are as follow: Senior Grade.—First round: University, 18, beat Edendale, 16. Final: University, 26, beat Grammar, 14. Second Grade.—First round: Y.W.C.A. A, 18, beat Cavell Guides, 2; Y.W.C.A. B, 13, beat Seddon, 8; Edendale, 20, beat Grammar, 8; Waratah, 24, beat Rata, 18. Second round: Waratah, 18, beat Edendale, 8; Y.W.C.A. A, 14, beat Y.W.C.A. B, 10. Final: Y.W.C.A. A, 11, beat Waratah, 10.
