Knocked Down By Motor Cars
ELDERLY WOMEN HURT CONDITION SERIOUS Press Association. NELSON, Saturday. Through being knocked down by a motor-car in Trafalgar Street last evening Mrs. Hockey, an elderly woman, was admitted to the hospital suffering from shock, head injuries and a fracture of the left collarbone. Her condition is serious. Another elderly woman, Mrs. M. A. Lamb, was knocked down in Waimea Street later in the evening by a motorcycle and sustained a fracture of the base of the skull. Her condition is serious.
