PUPUKE LADIES’ CLUB The L.G.U. monthly medal round will be played by members of the Pupuke Ladies’ Golf Club on the old coursenext Wednesday. In the afternoon there will be an approaching and putting competition for all players. Following is the draw for the first and second rounds of the C grade tournament for Miss B. O’Neill’s ! trophy:—First round: Miss Weston ! v. Mrs. Sellars. Second round: Mrs. Duder v. Miss Baxter; Miss J. Parker v. Miss Phillips; Mrs. Lunn v. Mrs. ‘ Atwood; Mrs. Tysoe v. Miss M. Parker; Miss Jackson v. Mrs. Mulligan: Miss Duder v. Mrs. Close; Miss Lewins v. Mrs. Harris; Miss Brett v. the winner of the first round. WAITEMATA LADIES’ CLUB A flag match will be played by members of the Waitemata Ladies’ Golf Club next Wednesday. Players will choose partners. No C grade match will be played on Thursday. AKARANA LADIES’ CLUB The first general meeting of the Akarana Ladies’ Golf Club was held last Thursday. The following officers were elected: President. Miss J. Tapper; captain, Mrs. Beattie; secretary, Miss O. Darrach; treasurer, Miss Clarke; committee. Mesdames Austin, Cox, and Symes, Miss Olliver and Miss Joyce. A medal round of 12 holes will be played next Wednesday. Cards will Ibe accepted from business girls today or next Saturday. Players are to choose partners.
