A JUDGE'S APOLOGY
Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. A Wellington jury had the unusual experience of receiving an apology from the judge for keeping them waiting an hour. Mr. Justice Alpers expressed his regret at the delay, and explained that he found himself the only judge in the city, and two small cases had to be disposed of, in which people who had come from Auckland and Invercargill would be caused great inconveni ence if kept waiting. -f ?!- -!- -1- -;- -;- -!- -!-
