DAIRY RESEARCH

(From Our Own Correspondent .) The Dairy Research Management Committee, established under arrangement with the Government and Dairy Produce Board, met to-day, and decided to recommend the appointment of Professor Riddett, Auckland director of dairy research, to call applications in New Zealand for a research chemist, and to set up a board of selectors to appoint professors of chemistry at the four university colleges, together with Mr. B. C. Aston and Dr. McLaurin.

It was decided to call applications for the position of research bacteriologist in New Zealand, England, and Australia.

The question of co-ordination of work with Hawera and Hamilton laboratories was left till the next meeting, progress reports to be published quarterly.
