TRUNK MURDER MYSTERY CONFESSION MADE LARGE KNIFE FOUND By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 8 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. John Robinson, aged 46, has been charged at Westminster Police Court with the murder of Mrs. Minnie Bonati, whose dismembered body was found in a trunk at Charing Cross Station. Inspector Cornish gave evidence that Robinson in a statement said: “I met Mrs. Bonati at Victoria Station and took her to my office.” “I done it. I cut her up.” Robinson took the witness to Clapham Common and pointed out a may tree under which a large knife was found.
He was remanded for eight days.— A. and N.Z.
