John Robinson, aged 46, has been charged at Westminster Police Court with the murder of Mrs. Minnie Bonati, whose dismembered body was found in a trunk at Charing Cross Station. Inspector Cornish gave evidence that Robinson in a statement said: “I met Mrs. Bonati at Victoria Station and took her to my office.” “I done it. I cut her up.” Robinson took the witness to Clapham Common and pointed out a may tree under which a large knife was found.
