“HAS THE HONOUR!”
Committees will probably no longer “have the honour to state” to the Auckland Harbour Board. “Speaking for the sake of posterity, I think that ‘reports’ would be more suitable than “has the honour to state,” said Mr. E. W. Inder at the board’s meeting yesterday when a report was being considered. The attack on jargon was noted.
