COMPACT ELECTORATE

POPULOUS RESIDENTIAL AREA The newly-created Auckland South electorate is a compact area forming almost a square cast across the Mt. Eden borough, with a slice of Epsom on the east, and Mt. Albert on the west. The fact that the new electorate is bordered by straight lines and covers a suburban area, should make it easy for its member to handle, and should make the interests of one section of the people the interests of the lot.
