WHANGAREI CASES (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, To-day. Before Mr. F. H. Livien at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, James A. Leatherby pleaded guilty to leaving a motor-lorry unattended and backed across the footpath in Cameron Street, and was convicted and fined 10s and costs, 10s. Albert E. Smith pleaded guilty to riding a motor-cycle along Kamo Road at a speed exceeding 20 miles an hour, and was fined 30s and 10s costs. For riding a cycle without a proper light after sundown. Albert Andrews was convicted and fined 10s and costs. 10s.
